What is a Moonfull Digital Detox Retreat?

A Moonfull Digital Detox is more than a retreat, it's a calling to slow down. It's time to switch off your digital devices, to intentionally reconnect with nature, others, and yourself.

Set in charming, off-grid cabins, free from the constant buzz of notifications, you’ll find the space to truly rest for the weekend. With no digital distractions, you’ll rediscover presence, simplicity, and natural rhythm.

Throughout your stay, we provide a range of plant-based meals and inclusive workshops designed to support reconnection and creativity. From foraging and natural winemaking to preserving seasonal produce, you’ll learn practical, grounding skills rooted in the natural world.

There’s no pressure to perform, just space. We offer optional creative prompts to inspire journaling, sketching, and photography, but most importantly, we give you the quiet freedom to relax, recharge, and be.

A Moonfull Digital Detox involves giving up your devices for a brief period of time. Research suggests such detoxes can have mental health benefits. The aim is to live the moment with others or alone.

For the sake of health and safety, we understand that you may wish to bring your phone, however, out of respect to our other guests, please do not bring it to any workshops or during meal times.

We encourage the use of cameras if you'd like to take any photographs during your stay, at workshops or meals. We'll also have a professional photographer to capture the weekend, and they will share all images via email after the weekend.

Preparing for a digital detox retreat can be challenging, especially if you are used to being constantly online and connected. Here are some tips on how to prepare for a digital detox retreat:

Before attending the retreat, set clear goals and intentions for what you hope to achieve during your time off technology. This will help you stay focused and committed for the whole weekend

Inform your family, friends, colleagues, and clients know that you will be unavailable for a certain period of time. Set up an auto-reply message on your email and phone, and turn off any notifications or alerts. This will reduce the temptation to check your messages and the anxiety of missing out on something important.

Pack wisely and only bring the essentials that you need for the retreat, such as comfortable clothes, toiletries, books, journals, etc. Avoid bringing any devices that can distract you from your experience, such as laptops, tablets, smartwatches, etc. If you need to bring your phone for emergency purposes, make sure to turn it off or put it in airplane mode during the retreat.

A digital detox retreat is not only about avoiding technology but also about enjoying other aspects of life. Plan some activities that you can do during the retreat, we'll have a range of activities and workshops throughout the weekend, these activities will help you relax, recharge, and express yourself.

This is a unique opportunity to explore new perspectives and experiences. Be open-minded and curious about what you can learn from the retreat leaders, the other participants, and yourself.
