Songs of the Seeds

First Edition:

Saturday 18th July 2026

10am - 3pm

T'Cure in Hebden Bridge is hosting our first gathering.

Songs of the Seeds is a touring experience exploring the landscapes, communities, flavours, folklore and stories that have shaped our lives.

Each event begins with a gentle guided nature trail and ends around a shared table, inviting guests to experience a place through all five senses - sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.

Each gathering is rooted in a location that holds personal significance. From Hebden Bridge, where we met, to Dumfries and Galloway, where we had our first date, Manchester where Sherel was born, Sheffield where Dunc was born, and the landscapes of Derbyshire, Leeds, Liverpool and Dorset that have inspired us along the way.

Alongside seasonal food, original live music and storytelling, guests are introduced to local plants, traditional folklore, preservation techniques and the hidden stories woven through each landscape.

Created exclusively for this one-day event, this first edition celebrates the Calder Valley through a unique combination of nature connection, creativity, food and community.

Frequently Asked Questions

No experience is needed to attend any of our events, including Songs of the Seeds.

Our events are designed for complete beginners and curious food lovers alike.

The focus is on observation, stories, flavour and human connection.

The definition of foraging is "the act of searching for provisions, resources, or food." We'll be exploring the landscape as a group and looking at wild edibles and lookalikes.

All Moonfull walks operated on a a no-pick, no-eat policy. We do not pick or eat wild plants during the walk itself.

Instead, we'll use:

  • Field lenses
  • Illustrated booklets
  • Prepared labeled samples
  • All preserves and ingredients are gathered in advance

designed to help bring the landscape closer and leave no trace.

Your meal will feature seasonal dishes created by the Head chef using a selection of responsibly pre-foraged ingredients and handcrafted preserves prepared by Moonfull.

For T'Cure, the featured foraged ingredients may include:

  • Dandelion
  • Wild garlic
  • Thistle
  • Plantain
  • Clover

The final menu will be determined by the head chef and seasonal availability.

Please note that wild ingredients featured in the meal have been sustainably gathered in advance and are not collected during the walk itself.

Yes, for T'Cure, dogs are welcome, they must be on a lead and under control at all times.

The menu will have vegan options. We will do our best to accommodate other dietary requirements where possible.

Due to the nature of this event and the menu planning involved, we require a weeks' notice for any other dietary requests. Please notify us of any dietary requirements before 11th July 2026.

After this date we may be unable to accommodate changes.

Foraged food is perfectly safe to eat.

All ingredients served during the meal have been responsibly identified, prepared and supplied in advance.

It depends on the venue.

The corkage fee is £5pp at T'Cure. They will also have a selection of:

  • Non-alcoholic refreshments
  • Mocktails
  • Hot drinks

all available to purchase at the restaurant.

Unfortunately, this event is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and over.

The experience includes a seasonal tasting menu featuring a variety of foraged ingredients, preserves and flavours that have been curated specifically for an adult audience.

As the menu forms an integral part of the experience, we are unable to offer alternative children's meals, modified ticket prices or family-friendly versions of the event.

We hope to offer dedicated family-friendly events in the future, but Songs of the Seeds is currently an adults-only experience.

This will depend on location.

For our first edition with T'Cure, the walk is gentle and approximately 0.7 miles from our meeting point to the restaurant, with several stops along the way.

We estimate the walk will take around 90 minutes in total, allowing plenty of time for discussion, stories and exploration.

Please note:

• There are a handful of stops near benches where participants can pause and rest.

• The route includes canal paths, woodland sections and areas of uneven terrain.

• Some paths may be muddy or slippery depending on weather conditions.

• Suitable walking footwear is strongly recommended.

While the walk is not particularly strenuous, it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Please also be aware that T'Cure is located upstairs, with access via stairs only, as is the bathroom. Unfortunately, this means the venue may not be suitable for guests who are unable to use stairs.

If you have any questions regarding accessibility, mobility requirements or whether this event is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking below and we'll be happy to discuss the route and venue in more detail.

Tickets are available exclusively through our Eventbrite page here.

To ensure all attendees are correctly registered and receive important event information, we are unable to accept bookings through any other channel.

Please do not purchase tickets from individuals claiming to have spare tickets or resale tickets.

Unfortunately, we occasionally encounter situations where people claim to hold tickets after an event has sold out. We can only guarantee entry for tickets purchased directly through our official Eventbrite page.

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and in line with our Booking Conditions. Please contact us as soon as possible if you can no longer attend.
